As part of the EU’s ambition for climate-neutral, smart cities, the SPINE and UPPER Horizon Europe projects are coming together in an online webinar to show what’s possible for the future of multimodal travel.
In today’s world of climate urgency and urban transformation, smarter, connected transport systems are no longer optional—they are essential.
Multimodal travel — combining different transport modes into one seamless journey — plays a crucial role in reducing emissions, enhancing user experience, and optimising energy use.
This online workshop will highlight how Antwerp, Heraklion, Hannover, and Thessalonikiare designing and implementing multimodal solutions to enable smooth, sustainable, and user-centric travel experiences.
Get inspired by their stories, lessons learned, and innovative practices — from multimodal journey planners and real-time, personalised mobility assistants to promoting intermodality and Mobility-as-a-Service through user-friendly travel information systems and multimodal hubs.
